  • / Faq

Nagarhole National Park looks amazing during the winter season, and you should totally go there between November to February. I would like to tell you that you should avoid going there during monsoons (from July to September) because most of the time it remains closed due to rainfall.

Don’t worry, you can book a safari for Nagarhole from the comfort of your home. Our website allows tourists to make a booking online. You don’t have to go all the way to Karnataka. Just make sure that you’re making Nagarhole Safari Booking at least 30 to 60 days before the travel date.

First of all, I would like to tell you that this park offers gyspys and bus safari for exploration. And, honestly gypsy safari feels better out of them all. This one gives a more private wildlife viewing experience and even goes to deeper areas of the park.

You cannot stay inside the park, but you can find many resort and hotels near Nagarhole National Park that offers comfortable stays. You can find a lot of accommodation options near the park, especially near the Kabini or Kutta.

You can take a flight to Mysore and then go on a scenic drive of around 90 km. But if you come from the Bangalore side, then it’s just a road trip of 5 to 6 hours.

The major animals that are mostly found inside the wild spots of Karnataka include elephants, gaurs, and lots of spotted deer. If you’re lucky, you might even spot tigers, leopards, or the elusive black panther. And, during the safari, you can listen to birds everywhere and see them with the help of binoculars.

Yes, it’s part of the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve and also a key part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, along with Bandipur, Wayanad, and Mudumalai parks.

There are three gates in Nagarhole names Kakanakote, Nanachi & Veeranahosahally. The main out among them are Kabini (Kakanakote) and Nanachi gate because they offer a better wildlife sighting experience and are famous among tourists who come to the park.

Absolutely! When I was there, I saw families with toddlers too. Just make sure to keep them calm and quiet during the safari. After all, peaceful safaris are best, and also, animals get scared by loud noises.

In most areas, you can easily use the internet and network, especially in lodges or resorts. Other than that, the inner area of the Nagarhole National Park has patchy signals, which honestly is kind of nice. However, I would recommend going there to enjoy peaceful vibes because a digital detox never hurt anyone.

If you want to experience a good time doing a safari, then do keep binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, shades, comfy shoes, and a lot of curiosity.

Most of the Jungle lodges and resorts have an in-house restaurant, and they offer meals with the stay. However, you can try local South Indian meals, rice, curries, and even BBQ in the restaurants of nearby markets.
